TESTIMONIALS

Sincere Thanks - Please pass on my sincere thanks to everyone at La La who took part in the concert for Malawi, at St Peter's on Saturday. You really did sound fabulous and the whole evening was a great success - we managed to raise £1,045 which will buy half a classroom at Mtunthama Primary School in Malawi and will make a huge difference to the children who study there. Once again, a huge thank you to you and to everyone in the choir - can we book you in for next year!? Lots of best wishes, Andrew

Dear Sally and Sam, Just a short note to thank you for supporting us at the Furry Dance cream teas on Sunday (20 June 2010). Your performance added to the overall enjoyment of the afternoon. I look forward to the La La Concert later in the year. Best wishes,

Alan

Dear Sally, Sam and all of La La Lympstone, Thanks to you all for braving the snow and overcoming illness to be part of Friday's Nightchurch event for Christian Aid (17 December 2010). As expected the quality from La La was fantastic and it is so great to work with professionals! The evening was far better attended than I'd expected that morning, with a ballpark 400 people. We're still waiting for the official count of the money, but we are sure it tops £1,200! Thank you so much for all you contributed to inspire giving and make this fantastic total. I'd really like to book you again for next year if you're willing? The provisional date is 16th December 2011. Do pass on my appreciation to the choir, and thank you for your hard work. Wishing you a warm and peaceful Christmas!

Saturday night, Exmouth Festival at Tower Street Methodist Chapel. What fun, performing definitely added a dimension that I have not felt since I was Chippenham Starlet tap dancing and singing in panto in the early 1960s! Thanks so much Sam

At their recent shared concert for the Exmouth Festival, which I was asked to compere, the La La Choirs absolutely wowed those lucky enough to be there with a wonderful mix of tear-jerking harmonies and full-throttle choral numbers. They helped raise a fabulous sum for the Festival and sent their audience home with a smile on their lips and a song in their hearts. Fabulous!

What a fantastic day last Sunday (20 June) turned out to be, despite all the set-backs.......and largely due to your La La Choirs. The atmosphere as I buzzed around was just as we'd hoped - obviously outside would have been preferable, but the weather was a little uncertain in the morning so at least we didn't have that awful inside/outside decision to make!! We have had so many comments from people saying how much they enjoyed the event. Please pass on our huge thanks to everyone for giving up their Sunday to help make our event so successful and the amount raised will be in the region of £3,000. Thank you all so very much.

On behalf of Red Rock Harmony many, many thanks to your fabulous choir for singing so beautifully on the Sunday afternoon during Teignmouth Carnival Week. You were fantastic and with your help the afternoon was a roaring success and we hope you all enjoyed it as much as we and the audience obviously did. In harmony,

Ann, Secretary for Teignmouth Carnival
